At menuFest, we believe you should love your menu design. Our process is built around collaboration, clear communication and unlimited revisions on qualifying packages — so the need for a refund rarely arises. However, we understand that circumstances can change, and we aim to handle every refund request fairly, promptly and with genuine care.
This policy applies to all menu design services purchased via https://menufest.online. By placing an order, you agree to the terms of this refund policy.
2. Revision-First Approach
Before a refund is considered, we always ask for the opportunity to resolve any dissatisfaction through our revision process. If you are unhappy with a delivered design, please contact us at support@menufest.online with specific feedback and we will work to address every concern within your included revision rounds.
💡 Most dissatisfaction is resolved through revisions. Please give us the chance to make your design perfect before requesting a refund — we genuinely want you to love the result.
If after completing all included revision rounds you remain dissatisfied, you may request a refund under the eligibility criteria below.
3. Eligible Refunds
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:
- No work started yet: If you cancel your order before we have begun design work, you are entitled to a full refund minus any payment processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30).
- First draft not delivered on time: If we fail to deliver your first draft within twice the stated estimated delivery window and you have not been notified of a delay, you may request a full refund.
- Fundamentally incorrect brief execution: If the delivered design fundamentally fails to follow the written brief you submitted (e.g., completely wrong cuisine type, colours or format) and revisions do not resolve this, a full or partial refund will be considered.
- Technical errors in final files: If final delivered files contain technical errors (e.g., corrupt files, missing bleed, incorrect dimensions) that we are unable to correct within 5 business days, a partial or full refund will be issued.
✅ These situations will always be reviewed fairly and resolved in your favour where the issue is clearly within our control.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- You have approved the final design files — once approved, the project is considered complete
- You have changed your mind about the design direction after work has begun
- You have provided incomplete, incorrect or late brief information that affected the design outcome
- You requested changes outside the original brief that resulted in a direction you no longer prefer
- Delays caused by your failure to respond to draft reviews within 7 business days
- Dissatisfaction with design style that is subjective in nature, where the design correctly followed your stated brief
- Add-on services (e.g., rush delivery, extra revision rounds, source files) once these have been delivered
- Any portion of a project that has already been delivered and approved in stages
❌ Once final files are delivered and approved, or once add-on services are fulfilled, those elements are non-refundable regardless of circumstances.
5. Partial Refunds
In cases where work has commenced but a full refund is deemed appropriate under the circumstances, we will issue a partial refund calculated based on the proportion of work completed at the time of cancellation. For example:
- If a first draft has been delivered but not approved — typically 50% refund of the package price
- If one revision round has been completed — typically 25–40% refund, depending on the package
- If work is more than 75% complete — refunds are unlikely but each case will be assessed individually
Partial refund amounts are determined at our discretion based on a fair assessment of work completed and are communicated to you in writing before processing.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us at support@menufest.online with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Order / Business Name]". Please include:
- Your full name and the email address used to place the order
- Your order or invoice number (if available)
- The reason for your refund request in as much detail as possible
- Any relevant screenshots, files or communications that support your request
We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and provide a full written response within 3 business days. We may ask for additional information or suggest alternative resolutions (such as additional revisions at no charge) before processing a refund.
7. Refund Timeframe
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of written approval. The refund will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout:
- Stripe payments — refunded to your original credit or debit card. Card processing times vary by bank, typically 3–10 business days to appear on your statement.
- PayPal payments — refunded to your PayPal balance or linked bank account, typically within 3–5 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been processed. If you do not receive your refund within 10 business days of receiving this confirmation, please contact your bank or payment provider first, then reach out to us if the issue persists.
